World Language week started today!!!!!

During the period you are taking Japanese, all language classes during that period gather together to play some games and have fun. During Culture Bowl and Film festival you can get cash prizes!!!

Extra credit for Term 4

There are lots of extra credit opportunities for Term 4, so I would recommend everyone check the blog once a week so that you don't forget.

1) Attend World Language Night next Thursday (3/29) from 7 to 9:30 p.m. 30 points

2) Attend BYU Language Fair during Spring Break on Friday (4/13). This one I would love as many students as possible to attend because it's the most fun activity. We are having a big competition on that day with lots of schools all over Utah. In the past AFHS has won all the categories, so I hope we can win this year as well. 30 points.

3) Attend Nihon matsuri (Japan's festival) in Salt Lake on April 28th (Sat)

You will have to write a half page report with at least 3 pictures you took from the festival.

4) If you do one extra day of your 24 hour speaking assignment, you will get 40 points of extra credit.

If you do all of them, you can get up to 115 points, plus the points you get being the helper of the day writing the dates correctly.
