Want to watch Anime, Drama or TV shows from Japan?

There are some good websites online you can go and watch Japanese anime, drama or TV shows.

When I was learning English in Japan, I thought that only class instruction was not enough for me, so I started watching lots of American TV shows. I tried to watch everyday for at least 20 minutes a day.After a couple of months, my listening skills got better and I could remember some expressions that had been said over and over again. Some of them were really simple like [ What's up?] [I don't get it] ｢Go away｣、etc. Some of those expressions we don't learn at school and it was very useful for me to know.

My major in College was Japanese teaching and my minor was English. It was my dream to come to America one day and go to a college or graduate school. Finally, when I was 22 years old, my dream came true. I could come to BYU for Graduate School where I got a MA in Japanese Language Acquisition and Teaching + a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate.

Thinking back, all that American TV shows that I used to watch everyday helped me a lot!!! I could not afford to be an exchange student and go to English Speaking countries to practice my English, so those TV shows were free and I could imagine myself speaking English through the TV.
